CEDA The Central de Abasto of Mexico City, CEDA, is recognized internationally as one of the largest of its kind, and a leader of distribution within the Mexican Republic. More than 328 hectares, it concentrates and distributes more than 40% of the national fruit/horticultural production. It hosts between 300 – 500,000 daily visitors, with more than 5,000 businessmen, producers and distributors, commercializing 30 000 tons of nourishing products every day, assuring the employment of 70 000 people. It is a commercial city inside Mexico City, a city which never sleeps and is the principal meeting point between production and consumption.
